turbo-consumerism

turns out being a mere consumer is past it.

Now, we're talking about 'turbo-consumerism'. Check this article.

It's from the guardian, and suggesting a link between that which we consume and have, and out status/class/success. What do you think? It is a bit weird to sometimes think of what it'd cost to replace the stuff i leave the house with some days.

Also the word 'turbo-consumerism' is fun. Lets think of more.......

uber-capitalist
tres-bien
ultra-philosophy
mega-brill

great article-

i'm really interested in the way capitalism promotes the idea of what life should be like, whilst making that idea impossible to attain.

i guess that's what drives the market economy...

does 'multi-patriotic' work?
