Welcome - This blog is just a place for us to get some of our thoughts and tangents down on err... pixel. We're a small group from a church in Nottingham England who get together eat, drink some wine and chat about life the universe and everything else...

Atheism and Quarks

Hello all, thought I'd get in there with the first blog of the year. Thanks again J.Man for top food last night. Here's the blog I mentioned; not really that relevant to Darwinism or poor dress sense but I guess it was a fairly wide discussion! Have a great w/e and hopefully see you all on Tues.

Cheers

Yummy cutsey beef

Hi everyone!

Here is the website for the beef we have been feeding you on occassion from my sister's farm!

There is an offer of 15% off up until the 31st of December 2006 so if you want some get in quick. I am going home on the 16th Dec so can bring some back then OR after Christmas. This will save you postage of meat (£10) from Somerset 'cause I will bring it to you for free, and with smiles!!! It really is tasty! Look on the website for price list and details of the different types of meat available and then place your order with me. The bill will come with the meat and you can pay online, cheque or give the cash to me. Nice and easy!

Castanha du Brasil!

Hello from Brazil! We have been here a week and it has been a really amazing time. It feels like so much has happened in such a short time. Brazil is a beautiful place and I am just about coping with the heat!
God is being so good to us and we are doing a mixture of intense praying for people in hard places and then just hanging out and having a lot of fun. We have prayed with and for the church here, met some amazingly faithful women of God who in really hard circumstances persevere with Him. We have visited and prayed with some families in the favela and this morning taught at the Sunday school on the Holy Spirit.
We have laughed so much which is really nice and Alison who we are staying with is wicked. The people here are amazing and are so keen to get to know us and be with us. So much of our trip has been about building relationships, although it is hard to see what God is doing sometimes because it is so relaxed. I know he is doing something.
