We're off!!!!

Jim and Anna are leaving for Zimbabwe tomorrow. We are VERY excited. Wehope to keep you updated via emails and on the blog. We will try, but i know not our success......

Please pray for us - that we have fun, keep safe, and are inspired. We met a guy this morning, a guy originally from Zimbabwe, who was involved in setting up an orphanage before he had to leave the country, and we are hoping to go and visit it and meet his two sons who are still there.

Hope you all have lovely months

ps to any who didn't know, i got a job this week! Working for the Building and Social Housing Foundation as a research assistant focusing on housing issues in international development. They seem like a well cool organisation, and i start in september. I am well excited!!

read this; it's well good..........

On the Emergent blog was this article on the hermeneutic of community

Now, I couldn't necessarily define 'hermeneutic', but its talking about relational truth, and the role therefore of community.

I thought it well interesting, again it challenges us to think about what community really is, means, can be, what we want it to be, what it ought (?) to be, and lots of other questions to which i know not the answers.......

answers on a post card, or on a comment page, please!
